Camila Restrepo

Community Organizing Program Manager

(She, They)

As the Community Organizing Program Manager, Camila works with teams of youth and adults to develop leadership skills and co-create a joyful and equitable community space. She began organizing for climate justice in 2017 in Commerce City. Through door knocking, hearing neighbors’ stories, and advocating at the capitol, she saw how powerful our united voices were and can be. Through her graduate work, Camila had the opportunity to learn about the network of food justice organizations and food producers in Colorado. She was reminded of the power of food – how it nurtures and brings us together. Camila is passionate about creating spaces where people get to exercise their agency, connect across differences, and create the world we want to live in. Camila, a longtime Colorado resident, holds a Masters of Environment in Urban Resilience and Sustainability and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
