Danielle is a program designer and manager, facilitator, community organizer, and Spanish interpreter who loves living in SW Denver. She has 30 years of experience bridge-building in diverse community settings, including facilitating cross-cultural dialogue in Cuernavaca, Mexico, organizing immigrants and allies working for federal immigration reform, designing and facilitating reflection tools on immigration for faith communities, supporting Spanish-speaking families of children with disabilities to advocate for their children, and facilitating community-centered planning projects. She is also an experienced interpreter and language justice practitioner. As a proud parent of an individual with Down syndrome, she is active with parent advocacy groups and regularly mentors other parents. She believes that our communities are strengthened when we celebrate all of our diverse gifts. Danielle has a double B.A. in Peace and Global Studies and Spanish Language and Literature from Earlham College. She loves to garden, knit, sew, camp, hike, and play pickleball!
